Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Northern California, in the shadow of Mount Shasta, with my parents and sister. I grew up enjoying the outdoors with my family camping and fishing. In grade school I played soccer and baseball and then in high school ran cross country and discovered wrestling. I enjoyed wrestling and wrestled all 4 years.
Where did you go to school?
For undergrad I went to California State University, Chico and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration.
For chiropractic school I went to Parker University in Dallas, Texas. I graduated in May 2011 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While at Parker I completed extra courses to earn two additional Bachelor of Science degrees in, Human Anatomy and Health & Wellness. My final clinical rotation was spent in Bogota, Colombia working at the Centro de alto Rendimiento – Coldeportes and at the Bogota Police Academy. While in Bogota, I had the opportunity to be involved with the medical staff for the 2011 AMF Futsal World Cup (indoor football) and Colombia won the championship!
What type of hobbies do you enjoy?
As long as I can remember I have enjoyed the outdoors and I do like a good adventure. I can remember fishing at Hat Creek and Shasta Lake in California with my dad or camping at Lassen National Park with my family. I started rock climbing in high school, thanks to a wrestling team mate, and that quickly became a passion of mine. I enjoy the creative process and working with my hands and find myself expressing my creativeness through cooking and trying a new recipe or through woodworking designing and building furniture or making gifts for friends and family.
How long have you been practicing chiropractic?
I started practicing in California in the fall of 2011. In 2015 I had an opportunity to further develop my clinical skills and moved cross country to West Virginia and practiced there till the end of 2017. I knew eventually I wanted to be back on the west coast, closer to family so I moved back to Washington in 2018. I hold active doctor of chiropractic licenses in Washington, West Virginia and California.
How did you get into chiropractic ?
The first time I ever saw a chiropractor was because I was experiencing numbness and tingling in my hands and muscle spasms in my upper arms. It was effecting my grip strength too, which is not good for a rock climber. Not only did those symptoms improve but a number of other issues improved such as my sleep and congestion. Chiropractic changed my life.

I would love to travel to New Zealand!
